Privacy Policy
TeslaReferralDeals (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates www.teslareferraldeals.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. By visiting the Site you agree to the terms described below.
We are an independent referral resource. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. When you click through to Tesla.com you leave our Site and are subject to Tesla’s own Privacy Notice and Terms of Use.
1. Information We Collect
We collect a limited amount of information in the following ways:
- Information you provide. If you contact us by email we will receive your email address and the contents of your message. We do not require you to create an account to use the Site, and the Site does not contain login forms.
- Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our servers record standard request metadata each time a page is loaded, including your IP address, user-agent string, referring URL, the page requested, and a timestamp.

URL parameters. The Site reads two optional URL parameters from
requests for the home page:
?locale=, which is appended to the destination Tesla URL so a click-through preserves your locale (for example,?locale=en-US); and?referral=, which overrides the active referral code for the current page view only. Neither parameter is stored, logged in association with your identity, or used for any other purpose. We do not read other URL parameters. - Cookies. When a visit is processed by our upstream attribution partner we may set a small first-party cookie used solely to prevent double-counting of the same visitor in the same campaign. The cookie contains an opaque short value — no name, email, or identifier — and is not used for advertising. See “Cookies and Similar Technologies” below for the specific cookie name and lifetime.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
- measure aggregate traffic volume and the performance of referral campaigns;
- detect abuse, fraud, and security issues;
- respond to questions you send us; and
- comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade your email address. We do not use your information to build an advertising profile.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files a website places on your device. We use first-party cookies only. The cookies we may set are listed below and are not used for advertising.
- _event (lifetime set by our attribution partner, typically a few days): set when a visit is processed by our upstream attribution partner, used to prevent double-counting of the same visitor in the same campaign. Contains an opaque short value — no name, email, or identifier.
- Our attribution partner may also instruct us to set one additional first-party cookie alongside the one above; its name and lifetime are supplied per response. It contains an opaque value and is used for the same anti-double-counting purpose.
Most visits do not trigger any cookies at all — direct visits, organic search traffic, and traffic from sources outside the configured paid-search campaign bypass the attribution path entirely.
You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not prevent you from using the Site or from following a referral link to Tesla.com.
4. Analytics
We use privacy-respecting, aggregate-only analytics to understand how the Site is used. We do not use Google Analytics or any analytics product that builds cross-site advertising profiles. Traffic metrics are retained in aggregate form and cannot be tied back to an individual visitor.
5. Third-Party Links
The Site contains links to external properties operated by third parties, including but not limited to Tesla.com. When you click one of these links you leave the Site and are subject to the destination’s own privacy policy and terms. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any linked third-party site.
6. How We Share Information
We do not share personal information with third parties except:
- with infrastructure providers that host the Site (for example, cloud hosting and content-delivery providers) strictly for the purpose of running the Site;
- in response to a valid legal request, such as a subpoena, court order, or similar government request; or
- to protect the rights, property, or safety of TeslaReferralDeals, our users, or the public as required or permitted by law.
7. Data Retention
We retain request logs for no longer than 90 days, after which they are either deleted or irreversibly aggregated. Email correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond and to keep a record of the conversation, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
8. Security
We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we collect. The Site is served over HTTPS only and enforces HSTS. Admin functionality is protected by shared-secret authentication and is not exposed to the public. No method of transmission over the Internet is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us at the address below. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
11. International Users
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those of your country.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site’s home page for a reasonable period after they take effect.
